Welcome to Mother And Child Online website terms and conditions for use. These terms and conditions apply to this website and by accessing this website and /or placing an order you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below. Shipping costs are charged at a flat rate meaning that we charge for delivery on the total purchase, not per item.

Alternatively you can pick up your purchase in store, in which case there is no shipping cost
We accept credit & debit card payments on line via paypal. Goods will only be despatched once full payment has been received.
If the goods are unsuitable or faulty please contact us within 7 working days of receiving the goods by either email or telephone to obtain a returns code please include your name, address & order number. The goods must then be returned to us within 14 days. Please return the goods to us at the address below confirming your returns code and specifying if you would like a replacement or full refund.
If the goods are unsuitable then we must be able to resell the goods, so if the packaging has been damaged then we may reclaim the cost of packaging.
You will receive a refund or replacement within 14 days of returning the goods.

Please note – We cannot refund monies if we have not issued a returns code, therefore please ensure you obtain a returns code. Returns costs are at your own expense.
We would strongly recommend that you obtain a “Proof of Postage” when returning items, as we cannot accept any responsibility for any lost or stolen goods being returned to us.
We are unable to process any queries reguarding orders over 60 days.
Faulty & Damaged Goods
Our policy on returns does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. If the goods are received damaged then we will offer you a full refund or if you prefer an alternative product.
In such as case please contact us by phone or e-mail. Please note that you must notify us of any damage within 48 hours of accepting delivery. When returning goods please enclose all the packaging, instructions, leaflets etc, together with a brief explanation of the fault. We would recommend that you obtain proof of postage when returning goods back to us as we would be unable to refund you the postage costs without this certificate.
In the case of personalised products or any item that has been made or ordered to your specification, we regret that we are unable to provide a refund on these items. Such items are excluded from the Distance Selling Regulations Act 2000. If you receive such an item that has been damaged then we will repair or replace the product. Where this is not possible, a full refund will be offered.

We reserve the right not to process any order that we deem unacceptable. In such circumstances we will refund the full amount. We reserve the right to alter our terms and conditions, products and prices without giving prior notice. It is your responsibility to check whether there has been any variation to any of our terms and conditions.
Mother and Child Online will cannot guarantee that our website is free of any discrepancies. We do not make any warranties that are site is free of viruses or other disruptive properties. We therefore cannot be held responsible for errors or omissions. All warranties, whether made expressly or by implication in respect of this website or the content, information or producties included in the website including, without limitation, warranties regarding merchantability and fitness for specific purpose are hereby excluded as far as permitted by law.

Our liability in contract, negligence, tort, precontract or other representations or otherwise arising in connection with the supply or contemplated supply of goods shall be limited in aggregate to all the sums paid by you to us. We cannot be held liable for any consequential or indirect loss, whether this be loss of business, profits, or damages of any kind whatsoever in contract, tort or otherwise arising out of use of our website or the products and services offered.
Nothing in these purchase terms shall exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or fraudulent misrepresentation. Our terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and you hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
